 Audio MP3 Maker is a simple ripper and encoder combo, able to convert CD or WAV to MP3.
The program includes a nice set of features included bitrate adjusting for the LAME MP3 enocoder, enabling you to make MP3s of various sizes. VBR encoding is included for the diehards that like to mess with the latest technology. Encoding speed is average and the quality is good.
The CD ripper was rather slow, even in the default burst mode. Quality was fine but the slowness could bother some. You can adjust the output directory of your ripped files through the options menu which is a nice feature.
Overall, there wasn't much that was special about Audio MP3 Maker. What it does it does well, but for a registration cost of $29.95, it is hardly worth it. Trial allows you to rip half the songs on a CD.
