MP3
CD Converter
MP3 CD Converter is a
tool for making audio CDs for use in your car or home stereo. The
program is fairly simple to use and just a couple of clicks will get you
burning. It has a very simple add file interface that allows you to
easily take files out of the queue by unchecking the selection. A
built in search feature will also scan your drive for additional
tracks. You can test each track before burning with a built in
mini-player, a good idea to ensure quality tracks are
burned. The program also has an option for you to normalize the volume of the tracks you want to
burn to keep the sound levels even throughout the CD you make. The
CDDB
support feature lets you pull track and artist info off the Internet
automatically without the hassle of having to type it all yourself. ID3 tags are also
supported. The software is also very small which is a nice plus
and testifies to efficient software coding.
MP3 CD Converter wasn't
perfect though and has a few drawbacks. The program does not
incorporate BURN-Proof technology like MP3
CD Burner and is prone to errors burning at max speed and while
running other programs. However, after reducing the burn speed to
4X, the program worked flawlessly and burned a very nice sounding CD.
Despite its setbacks with
burning speed, this program is
worth a try. The low registration price and ease of use set it
apart from most other programs. The trial version will allow you
to burn 10 tracks at a time. After registering the program, you
get free upgrades for life which is a very valuable feature. For help registering for full capabilities, see our MP3
CD Converter registration guide. Now supports Windows XP.
