MPegger Mac MP3 Encoder

MPegger is one of the original MP3 encoders for the Macintosh. The program will convert CD to MP3, AIFF to MP3, WAV to MP3, or SoundDesign II to MP3.

To save you time and energy naming your files, MPegger conveniently uses the online CDDB database to automatically name tracks you are about to convert from CD. The program also includes bitrate selections for you to control the quality and size of MP3s to be encoded. VBR encoding is also an options. Audiophiles will also like the option to encode MP2 files.
