What It Is

TuneConvert converts MP3, AAC, WMA and WAV audio files back and forth between each other.  The program automatically adds artist information to the file ID3 tags so you don’t have to enter it manually.  There is also a CD ripper so you can convert cd audio to all of those audio file formats as well.

TuneConvert is shareware and comes in Premium and Ultimate editions.  The Ultimate edition adds video converting capabilities.  It can convert most video files to MP4, WMV, AVI or 3GP.  The Ultimate edition can also surf for video on the Internet and automatically convert it for you.  You need to be careful of copyright infringement/piracy with this feature however since the program does not discriminate in what it takes from the Internet!

Additional Features

Batch Mode lets you convert a lot of files at once to help save time.  Drag and drop audio files to the converter for quick and easy conversion prep.  TuneConvert will allow any converted file to play on any PC, mobile player, and any other player with no limitations.  This is a great way to get rid of some of the DRM limitations in iTunes or author audio files you may have purchased that try to limit your playing only on certain audio devices.  Who wants that hassle?
