Waver is a general conversion utility that includes both BladeEnc
encoders that you can toggle one screen away from the main interface.
Simply load up a file to be converter, right click or double click on it to set
output preferences, press the 'Play' icon in the upper left and Waver will take
care of the rest.
The strong characteristic of Waver is its batch conversion
ability. Load up a number of files and/or directories and let it rip,
working away quietly in the background. The detriment to Waver is not
having a ripping utility. You will need an additional program like Exact
Audio Copy to do that for you. However, many ripping utilities (EAC
excluded), come with encoders which render Waver's main purpose redundant.
Waver is not a bad program, it just doesn't offer the kind of
package that many mp3 enthusiasts are looking for.
