Audio Slimmer

Audio Slimmer is an easy to use wma file converter that incorporates the latest WMA technology to slim down the size of your audio files.  Convert either WAV or MP3 to WMA and get smaller file sizes with similar quality.  Audio Slimmer even includes a feature to convert MP3 to WAV.

The program interface includes a familiar file tree in the upper left to easily browse for MP3s to convert.  In fact, what is really nice about the program is no pull down menus, everything you need is laid out simply and neatly on the screen for you.  If you merely want to convert your MP3s to WAVE, simply check the appropriate box to change the conversion from WMA.  You can also choose to extract a segment of an audio file using the record option in the lower left.  Nice feature if you are doing a presentation or want just a small clip for a website.

If you are looking to save space with the WMA 8 format and want an easy to use program to do it with, Audio Slimmer is a great option.  Trial version is for 30-days and no more than 200 conversions, plenty of time to give it a thorough test run.
